Street Price of a Steel Heart I?

I have been selling my BBSHSHs for around $1000 - $1250, I would guess the original SH1s new would be about the same price.

BBSHSHs can be a little more readily found, whereas Original SH1s never pop up for sale. They have to be dug up from the depths so I think they fetch a little more of a premium.

You might get lucky and score one for the 1000 to 1250, but I don't think that's the norm.

After doing a search, you are probably right, Ducc. I'd say $1200. I paid around that for mine last year. But $1500 for a SH1 is probably correct. If one shows up for sale. (Outside of some guy at a gun show not knowing what he has and selling it for $200.)
 
I think Foo may be closer on this one. If it is the real deal in ATS-34.

Of course if Jerry is going to make one as part of the BOSS series then it is worth about $357.00.

Street price for an old school steel heart? Doesn't exist. It's not like you can just go out an buy one... "Yeah, I need an 8-ball, and a steel heart if you got one." And you can't smoke one. Trust me.

Well, it always comes down to what we think a knife is worth and what someone will actually pay for it, right? I have seen BBSHSHs listed for $1300 - $1600 recently, but they actually only sell if priced in the $900 - $1200 range depending on their condition. I would think the same would hold true for the SH1, I bought mine for $700 - $800 awhile ago, if I can get $1500 - $1800...................:eek:

The Steel Heart 1 has got to be the most sought after Busse PERIOD!
I was able to land one about 7 or 8 years ago for $800. I would agree with what a few others have said they might be worth nowadays.

Keep in mind though, if you reel one in you are going to have to find a Holy Tearer to keep her company:thumbup:

Well you have to haev the willing seller part of the deal too. Times are kind of bad right now so maybe you could find a seller at $1200. But I'm not a seller at $1,200, Foo no, Dave, no so... you? Well the Duccis always were a cheap date :p

I'm not sure if I can get down there this June but if I can, I'll mail her down to meet us:D
