Street Surgeon Users, any comments?

I am about to get a perrin's street surgeon. One question bothers me a lot: It's handle is also carbon steel, and I don't want to oil the handles of my knives, will rust be a problem for this little knife?

Ive had mine for about a year though i dont wear it daily ive never encountered any rust problems! Sweet little design ! BLADEART has them in stock with handle scales in black cost a little more, but gives you more handle and dressier look WWW.BLADEART.COM

I thought that Bladeart also had some with BC1...though I may be mistaken.
