I am a biology teacher in Bogotá,Colombia in a school . I am working in a project with my tenth grade students on how to build chair with used cardboard. In the process I used my incredible and amazing spyderco techno to cut the pieces of the material intended to be used for the chair. You may be asking yourselves how the steel hold up the work ( I had cut more than 50 pieces of carboard). I can assure that CTS-XHP is an amazing steel that can do hard work.

Actually I was asking myself "How did he get such a dangerous weapon of mass destruction through the metal detectors and pat downs, into a school without the swat team being called in and being frog marched out the front at gunpoint":D

I love the Spyderco Techno more than any other knife I've ever owned. I purchased it in September. I've been using the hell out of it and the edge is still extremely sharp. I've opened and closed it thousands of times. Still rock solid, zero play, zero slippage. I took off the wire clip and just let her sit in one of my pockets. It's great in the left hand for a Spydie flick. It's also great in the right hand. The aesthetics are also first class. I can't say enough good things about this knife. It almost feels like a custom/midtech sometimes.

Techno is one of my most carried & most used knives... here is a pic taken last night in my cabin - good old stuff that works... framelock, mechanical timepiece, kerosene lamp. Yeah, Techno is a little big workhorse!
