Strengthening the detent on my 0770cf

And the modifications on my 0770cf continue. First the de-assist, successful. Now I want to know if there's a way I can possibly strengthen the detent on this knife a little bit, it seems a little weak in my opinion, it doesn't flip readily without the spring assist. Does anyone have any intel or experience in doing this?

Either increase the detent hole size in the blade tange or increase the spring pressure of the detent (depending on the specifics of the knife upon inspection).

This video describes increasing detent strength pretty well:

This method requires a ball nose end mill and a drill. It might seem like a scary process, but removing material from hardened steel is slow enough that it's difficult to really mess up. Just stop frequently to test the detent strength until it is where you want it.
