Stretch 2 XL D pivot durability?

I read on Spyderco forums that a user was concerned that because the Stretch 2 XL doesn't have metal liners, the single sided screw pivot that goes directly into the FRN liners could possibly deform the D shaped pivot hole in the FRN thus creating a rotating pivot. Also mentioned because the handles flex quite easily it may need frequent adjusting/ retightening thus accelerating wear on this frn D shaped hole. Has this actually been an issue for anyone? How tight of tolerance is the fit of the pivot through this hole? I blue loctite all my knives after I get them adjusted how I like and would actually be more worried about the loctite bond being stronger than the D pivot hole thus making my knife impossible to get apart if it rounds out and turns into a spinning pivot. (That is, if I were to buy a Stretch 2 XL as I don't own one yet). Thoughts?

Just talking Spyderco and not other brands, the Salts have been around about two decades. The Endura came out over three decades ago and went three generations without liners.

If there was an issue, that would translate to warranty work, and surely Spyderco would have moved away from the design.

Do these models use the same system then?

To be fair, the early Salts, Delicas and Enduras had pinned pivots. They've only started using screw pivots in the last few years. So it wasn't a problem for the first twenty years, it only became a problem when people started taking them apart.
