Stretching the legs

With the weather getting nicer and nicer, my fiancé and I decided to head out for a little hike. Not to be one to head out in the wilderness empty handed so we decided to bring some friends along.

We decided to pack lunch and a few other things we wouldnt necessarily need for a short hike but brought anyway, just to reaclimate ourselves to the extra weight.

I forgot to bring my actual camera so these are all taken with my phone. I guess oak burls wouldnt make good knife scales huh?

I love it, feels great in the hand. On this particular day I sported the bhk and the bk24 while my girl used the the bk16 and an excellent necker knife I had made by a maker here on the forums, Jason Wilder. She gets to use mine while he finishes making another one I ordered for her.

Ha, I set em free. Some folks happened across him while driving along a road, they scooped em up and were heading down a trail to drop em off near the river when they ran into us. We offered to save them a trip and take him there instead since we were headed in the direction.
 
Best of both world BK and BHK I love both brands currently wearing the 11 and packing the woodsman :) happy happy happy
