Strider 3/4 grind vs flat grind

On monkey edge the description says that the main difference in the 3/4 grind and the flat grind on the smf/sng's is mainly an aesthetic thing. Is this really true what do ppl think? is there really not that much difference between these two grinds in how they perform?

Both will excel.
I just prefer the FFG. It's a cool grind.

3/4 grind = less material removed = does not cut as well = sturdier.
Full Flat Grind = mo bettah.

I like the way the 3/4 grind looks, but after getting used to my Spyderco's, I prefer sharpening and cutting with a full flat grind.
