Strider advertisement in SOF...

In the latest issue of SOF, there's a Strider advertisement on the first page, opposite the table of contents. There is a fixed blade with USMC stamped on the blade.

What is it? Is there a version of it that's not stamped USMC? I'm guessing there is a SEAL 2001/BN-SS type of thing going on, if you know what I mean...

BTW, that's a great advertisement!
 
I think its the MT-10, if I looked at the same magazine as you did. If I remember correctly, Strider makes a USMC model, and it is given as a reward from the USMC sniper training. I might just be remembering my info wrong though. Reagan
 
The SOF mag model is I believe the MT-10 but a very special version marked USMC and 8541 Which is the MOS 8541 Scout Sniper USMC course.
The top two in the class are awarded a Strider Model 8541 Which civies can buy its just a model MT-10 in the civilian world.

The 8541 USMC course renders you either washed out or a man with very large balls! MOS8541 is a hell of bit of trainin'


The knife is cool though.
 
the mod 10's are very cool-I picked up a mt mod 10 a while back and it's one of my favorites. very good to carry in kydex, or to take camping/hiking etc around sheeple.

Matt, be forewarned. This knife just might make my list of Striders To Buy for next year, after my SnG from the second batch...
