Howdy yall,

I've never actually seen or handled one of these and it sort of has piqued my interested. The left handed SNGs are pretty much impossible to find, and these seem to come up a bit more often. The lock side doesn't make much difference to me, but being able to mount a clip definitely does. I've always really liked Striders since I first had the chance to handle one, but being left handed and preferring front left pocket carry I've always sort of been out of luck. Does anyone have any experience with this particular model? Do they have good and secure lockup compared to the framelock versions? Do they carry fairly well? I've seen a few youtube reviews that seem favorable, but I'd love to hear if any of yall have experience with these knives!

Way to heavy for me. But its a tank. The lockup is very solid but I had to pass as I would never EDC one. It may be the strongest Strider folder ever made.

Mine is big, heavy and lock up is solid. I don't have a framelock version, but I'm willing to bet it is easier to edc.

I don't think the framelock version is setup for a changeable pocket clip, and I think the liner is. They look super impressive, and the weight isn't a huge deal, but they also seem rather large for EDC. Short of a custom though, this may just be the most available left friendly strider. I'm sort of worried it would be too large to comfortable carry, but I'm being drawn towards strider again and limited options make for harder choices.

They are customs, but there are several places with lefty SnG's right now. I know matt d tactical has some.

Oh yeah the lefty customs can be really impressive and I've seen some incredible ones posted around here, but with the price bump of going for a custom that sort of opens a new realm of options. If I decide on something new to EDC it would have to be within around a $400ish range. The number could move somewhat, but when you start getting into $600+ I can think of a few custom options I may prefer.
