I figured I would post this here and see if I can generate any interest. In the last couple of months we have started a few Passaround/Raffles.. The way it works is we shoot for 10 people, all of which pitch in via PayPal or Money Order to buy a high end knife. The knife is then passed around to those 10 people, each keeping it for about a week, and then mailing it on to the next guy. When the knife gets to the 10th person, its then raffled off and one of the 10 people who participated wins the knife. The raffle basically works like this: Each person is assigned a number at the beginning of the passaround. Like the order you are in to receive it, then once the 10th person receives the knife we would pick a day and announce it ahead of time and use a state lottery that you can check online. The first number of say the pick 3 or something like that will be who won (IE) First person to get passaround is 1, lottery results 169, the first guy won. Right now we have a Surefire and a Sebenza in progress and a CRK Green Beret getting ready to take off. Anyway, the reason I am here, there is a thread in the general forum fishing for ideas on what knife should be next for the passaround/raffle. Personally I really want to handle a Strider Folder and don't have the money to buy one out right. I realize most of you who hang out here probably already have a AR or SNG, but for those of you interested in forking over $40 and not only getting to try her out for a week, but then having a 1-10 chance of winning, head on over and cast your vote.
