So King Grinch, you have experience with the Strider do you? I have no experience with the S.E.R.E., but doubt very much that it is a better knife. What leads you to this conclusion? I would be interested in why you think the Strider is a piece of crap.

You can use the AR as a crow bar but the Sere will probably snap in 2 if you pry real hard with it. Sere is a great folder but it is not in the same league with an AR. AR liner is thicker than any folder liner on the market.

Will it actually fit in the pockets of a pair of jeans ? Or does it need it's own carrying device ?

Yes it will fit in the front pockets of jeans. I talked to Duane at the NY show and the kydex rig is now standard issue. Its a great little rig with a tek-lok. Its very well thought out.
