Can anyone post a picture of an AR clipped to the right hand front pocket of a pair of jeans? I am interested in the AR but I just can't get a fill for how big it really is. I saw a picture of the AR with the silver dollar on it but i don't have a silver dollar around to size the thing up. A picture with a ruler beside it horizontally and verically would be much better. For all you present AR owners do you carry your AR daily and is it comfortable? do you carry it in the pocket or on the Kydex holster? and is the holster configurable for inside the waistband carry so as to not be detected? Sorry for all the question I just can't get over this BAD*** knife. Any and all comment/pictures will be greatly appreciated.
 
I have had my AR about a week now. I carry it everyday. At work its in my pants pocket (suit and tie look funny with a knife cliped on your belt) Away from work I put it in my kydex sheath and untuck my shirt.

I will have pictures for you sometime tonight. Will toss in a few more common items then a dollar this time.

Width with the blade closed?

I must be missing something here, because I can't see how the width would change between open and closed...Maybe it's a mighty morphin power AR? :)
 
Think ya ment how tall is it closed?
Height of just the G-10 (at its highest point)
1.51"
Its lowest point
0.98"

Height when closed from bottom of g10 to top of blade.
1.89"

These specs are just aprox. I am not taking the time to get out the real good clipers and attachments. Just doing it with a cheap set of dial's.

That is a cool lanyard that you tied on the that AR! Did you make that one up yourself or do you know of a place on the net with instructions?

Kyle, I took all of your demensions for the AR and your pictures and made a replica out of block of wood with the blade closed. I wished you could see it. I painted it flat black and my daughter thought it was a real knife! After putting the wood replica in my pocket and carrying it a while in my pants pocket with my homemade pocket clip, I thank I'm going to break down and buy the AR. I was going to by the Sebenza, but after seeing the AR in a gun show well you know.:D Thanks for your help and you were right. I was talking about the distance from the top of the G10 to the spine of the blade with the blade closed. Sorry about the confusion.
 
I love sebs, for some reason the decorated ones speak to me.
Would I carry one over an AR? No way. Seb is a great gentelmen's knife, that is great for Sunday go to meeting. AR is the war horse of folders. Built to be used.

Its something I did myself.
