I bought a Strider AR about three years ago in preparation for a trip to Africa.
Since its purchase, the AR has dressed and skinned 3 cape buffalo, an Impala, a warthog, a Sable, a zebra, and three whitetails.
It has been used hard and put away wet.
While it now shows some wear, it still performs flawlessly.
The grip could be more comfortable, but it has never slipped in a wet hand, and the edge performance has been wonderful, in my subjective opinion.
I finally just broke down and bought an Emerson Commander, because it felt so good in my hand and because it's neat.
I know the edge profile is abysmal for most uses, but I couldn't resist it.
If I could put an AR blade on an Emerson handle (with a reliable lock) I'd have my ultimate all purpose knife.
Until then, I'll keep shopping
