I saw a picture of a strider axe with tiger stripes and tan cord over at webshots dot com. When were these made??

Jeff

All I have seen are protos, and I think they are coming soon.

This will bring it to the top where somebody with more knowledge than me can help.

The first I saw the Axe was back in April. Mick brought one to the OKCA show. It is truly Bad Axe! As for availability, it is a Mick Stride Custom piece. I'm sure if you ordered one, Mick would grind it for you. It may take awhile, and a large infusion of capital, but you'd REALLY like the end result!

Could somebody post a link to this Strider Axe pic? I cannot seem to find it, and would love to see it.

Thanks, Christiaan.

I am sure you are working on old #13 as we speak. In case you forgot, Green wrap, plain bead blast, and the non-barrio #13 :). Thanks Santa for Mick and Duane and all the guys in the shop, I swear I have been good all year.

I got to see this Bad Axe at Blade West this year. It's mindblowingly awesome. :)

Nice Pics Eric. The Axe in the bottom picture is the one we used to destroy a Bell 412 helicopter. It is a real piece of work.

Damn...that IS awesome...in the more biblical meaning of the word..
Do you know any of the specs?

Thats just great..........I might as well have my paychecks direct deposited to Strider Inc. One more hard core toy to drool over until they become available. Like Tom Petty said, "The waiting is the hardest part."
Very nice axe. reminds me of the old USAF B-52 survival axe, issued to the aircrew. How about a Strider 26" Katana and a Strider bayonet
for my HK91 and 93.

Happy Holidays to All

Hal:)

What is a 3 pound maul used for? Is it used to give it extra weight when you are using it to chop:confused: Also, what is the thing attached to it in the last pic??

Jeff

The first ones are the three pound sledgehammer. (very good).
The next photos are of one of the entry tools.

At first, I was going to make a bunch of attachments for the things. Then I realized how long they took to make.

You will need to make your own attachments.

Yours is in process DB.

HO HO HO

Mick

Mick,

How much does one of these babies cost (with or without attachments, but the sledge or spike look soooo cool) ?

How long does it take to get one?

Regards,

Ed

Well I thought I could resist the temptation, but you had to post the Pics! Just the thought of using that thing runs my blood pressure up. I LIKE IT!!!

When I was at TAD about 3 weeks ago I held one and it felt wonderful. I wanted to run with it but will have to wait.
