Strider bayonet

Saw the bayonet at the blade show. Super cool! It weighed about as much as my 16" AR-15.

Thanks for the link, RL. Really nice bayonet. I'll try to load photo.

Are the other 2 Striders? The one in the middle has the artistic style of Mick. Thanks, Reagan

The top two are Striders...in fact, the middle knife won the Badlands combat bowie contest at Blade. The bottom knife, a Simonich Batwing was one of the contestants.

Seeing it in person is much more impressive than the pictures - that is a massive combat blade, and I have no doubt it would handily cleave through just about any obstacle when attached to a rifle.

What's really neat about it is that not only is it solid and tough, but it's aesthetically appealing as well - it looks like it belonds on the end of a M41 Pulse Rifle from Aliens. The finger groove in the choil allows you to choke up on the grip and unlike the M9's that we were issued, I'd strongly doubt any ammo crate banding or passing branch would snap this beast in two.

Duane said he'd be building, oh, about a thousand of these (or similar models), so snap one up and put it to work. I'm probably going to get one for myself, which is a rare thing indeed.

Thanks for the kind words. As we speak I am working on this project in various configurations. Stay tuned!
