I have noticed the STRIDERS not doing so well in the trade forums or SALE forums....typically the B890-SPX-0 They appear to be made well and very heavy duty.........I see other brands SELLING 10-x's over these!

Whats the deal...? I thought these were a HOT button!

Apparently...not. I see them at various prices on the WEB and here...of all places............NOBODY cares about 'em.

I'm willing to give mine away---at this point!

Well if you're looking for someone to ship it to - I'll take it off your hands!

I see what your talking about - they have not been active on auction sites either.

It's probably due to the 420 steel which is fine when heat treated properly but this steel is regarded as a lesser steel. These fixed blades are also very big and hard to conceal.

Yep it's the steel 420 HC, although Buck has shown good results with it , most want the ATS 34 blade.

I like the knife but i won't buy it because i don't like any steel below 440 C

Same here - steel is disappointing. Surely $10 or $20 could yield a better steel for the blade.

I see Striders with S30V for ~$250 - I suspect he doesn't want Buck infringing on his core.

The price point is right, but the steel makes me pass...
