Just Got A Buck 882. Never Had A Tacticaal Knife Before. Just Wanted To Know Anyone's Opinion Of This Knife. It Seems Solid! The More I Look At It The More I'm Impressed With How It's Made. Great Steel, Great Handle, And Mr. Bos Special Touch. I'm At Work So I'll Check Back Later To See If Anyone Has Any Interesting Experience With This Knife.

I dont know! I just bought my first one also 2 days ago!
So far it seems pretty good! I am not a huge fan of serrations but this one has a decent plain edge so I will have sufficient cutting surface. Very solid knife.

I've been kicking around getting a buck-strider knife before they all disappear. Where'd you get yours from?

The 889 has been wonderful for me. I would assume that with better materials the 882 should be outstanding.

Thanks For The Input Guys. The Place I Work At Here In Montana Is Actually A Small Buck Dealer And I Got Mine Because Of A Botched Special Order So I Got A Screaming Deal.

This is great knife. I even have combine old limited edition with plane edge with another model which has G10 handle. Big problem is thin lock - I can fold the locked knife with my hand without too much pressue, plus same happen if you hit blade spine, again without too much force applied. I guess it just bend under pressure and unlock, because it is too thin. It was bad surprize for me - 880 instead has solid thick lock bar, but not this one. I also heart that G10 model has good lock bar, but it turns out it is not :( .

This may be dangerouse so be carefull.

Otherwise, it has very comfortable handle, pretty grippy and same time gives you enogh freedom for manipulation.

Thanks, Vassili.
