Strider DGG The Best Traction?

After EDC'ing a Spyderco Military for the last 4 years, I'm now the very happy owner of a Strider SMF DGG. Love everything about this knife.

My question is: has anyone found anything that is equal to the Gunner Grip for traction that Strider produces? Man, that texture really provides a secure grip unlike anything I have ever found.

To cure the pocket tearing issue, I removed the clip and then smoothed down a very small area right where the clip "pinches" the pocket material with a Dremel. Issue cured. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

There is not alot of knives that can beat out a GG strider in terms of traction, and they sure can shred a pocket!

I have a lego and a cc, for that reason. But yeah, the DGG's are very nice.

Since shredding some jeans, I discovered that it carries extremely well in the pocket without a clip. Usually I like flow through construction, but the SNG's integral "back-spacer" helps protect the edge from random change and keys in your pocket. The DGG also provides more traction keeping it in your pocket.
