Im curious on how Striders Digi finish holds up.Can you use it much without messing up the finish?? How does it compare to Stonewashed or Tiger stripe finish.

Pics would be great as well.

Their Stone Washed blades hold up the best.

The striped and Digi finishes are about the same.

I have no experience with the digi finish, but I can tell you the stonewash holds up better than the tigerstripe finish for me. I have heard the digi finish holds up well.

Are the issues with blade "break in" random or has this been addressed in new Striders.

I've been considering a GG SMF Stonewashed, but don't care to further aggravate an already arthritic right side thumb. (that's the sore thumb) :D

I have a new PT and the break in period is in full effect! Opening and closing. Give your thumb a break and don't bother.

The stonewash is much smoother and easier to break in than the stripe. I would assume the digi finish would take longer to break in also.

i have had 3 with the digi finish and it held up well on the 2 knives i actually used with it (#3 remained LNIB till it got swapped) and didnt show scuffs much when it did scuff.

as far as looks go its my fav SKI finish, also pics dont do it justice, i didnt care for it when i saw pics, but loved it when i handled one with it.

i dont think the striped SKI's show scuffs much either though.

if i was gonna get another SKI i would get a hinderer '18 lol, but FWIW my fav SKI folder, by far, is the SnG, it rides very well in the pocket, and is plenty big, the SmF is just enough larger/thicker that it imho doesnt carry as well, the SnG is imho one of the very best edc knives around, the AR/GB are imho more at home in a belt sheath vs a pocket, they are just too big/thick and the cutting edge of the blade is hardly longer than an SnG anyway, compare the 2 it will suprise ya, it did me.
