Just recieved my Strider AR Digicam Ghost model this morning. I already have one AR, this being the one I have modified to some extent, but wanted one that was "stock" and I have not seen many with this Digicam Ghost finish. First thing is the finish. I wasn't too sure how it would go over for me because it is a bit radical looking to say the least. After holding the knife and looking it over carefully I have come to the conclusion that I like the finish......at the very least it is unique. Fit/finish, action, and lockup were all top notch as the liner moves over just to the left of the blade tang, leaving a full liners width to go. These liners mic out to be .095" thick. Opening was very smooth, even after I tightened it down a degree or two as I do not like a blade that a downward movement and a jerk up will dislodge. The only real problem I have with the AR/GB series is that the liner edges are really unfinished, but I guess in keeping with the tasks these folder's are designed to perform, they don't really need to be show knife finished.

So after moving the pocket clip to the back handle hole, and of course tearing the whole knife apart to do some judicious cleaning/polishing, and relubing with Miltec, it is now riding in my right front pocket as my current edc. Who says you can't comfortably edc an AR!!!

CONGRATS on scoring an AR with the Digicam Ghost finish. I carried my AR in a Lifter's Leather sheath.

Can't do any pictures right now, sorry. TKC, the more I look at this digicam ghost finish the more I like it. It is very unique for sure. Is it still offered on the new Striders? If you like 'em large Andre, you'll dig the AR!!
