Strider ED: how is it?

I'm looking for a small knife that I'd be able to use as a neck knife or on my belt.
I really like the Strider ED but I don't find any reviews or impressions regarding this one.
Being a S30V blade made by Strider I suppose it's quite a good start.

Also if anyone has it, can I put it on a Tek Lok without any problem?

You can put it on a Tek Lok. I do carry my ED on my belt using Tek Lok.

I'd say it's ok knife to carry around. It would help wrapping the handle with paracord, though. The bare skeletal handle isn't much comfortable for me. With paracord wrapped, the grip's much better. Handle length is about right.

The blade is kinda small (i.e. short), but considering it is so-called neck knife, not much problem there I guess. Blade's not as thick either. About 0.1" I think. (I haven't measured it)

Overall, it's kinda lengthy, with the handle offers almost full length I say. Kinda bothersome to carry as a neck knife for me. Also, I don't carry it horizontally on my side, because of its length. I carry it at small of back. (I usually fumble around when I try to put it back to the sheath)
The blade itself is the same length and shape as that of PT.

I haven't put it through a hard use (most my knives don't). Thus I can't say how tough it might be. It's good for small cutting tasks. Edge holding is good.

Comparing to other neck knife / small knife, its long handle is a plus in handling. It offers good grip. But, also, it makes ED bigger and harder to carry around than most neck knives. It's skeletal handle needs some help like additional paracord wrapping.

Currently, I'm considering to get BM211 for my small fixed knife. ED is fine, but I want something with thicker blade. BM211 offers thick blade of D2 steel and a wooden handle. ;)

Do I recommend ED for you? I don't know. I would have, if it's a year ago. Not because ED's inferior in anyway. It just doesn't quite fill my need.
If you want light, small fixed knife to carry, ED is a good choice.

I like mine a lot. I prefer it without cord wrap -- it lies flat and unobtrusive as a necker with the skeletal handle. The length and typical Strider shape of the handle makes for an excellent grip. On the belt I would recommend canted crossdraw.

consider the db also

That right there is my favourite FB for daily carry (HAK doesn't count).

Gets carried about a third the time. Always SOB. Depends on what you want the knife for, mine's my "portable prybar" that always compliments a thinner slicer. Bailed me out HUGE with a dead car once.

7.5" OAL and the factory Teklok sheath is excellent. An SA is the sister knife in DP instead of tanto, and comes in both 3/16 and 1/4.

I can't help but want to try out an SLCC though

EDIT: the DB/SA is a better handle/blade ratio than the ED, and the SLCC even more so. More expensive too.

I'm considering the SA, I like it, but it's bigger than the ED.
For the time being, I want something small, smth I could use as a necker and take with me when I go running, something light.
SLCC is nice, but the grip seems odd. Doesn't look really secure to me, I'd have to try it. I have to admit I like it more and more.
