i noticed on blade art that strider has a fixed blade with a cutout handle in the shape of a skull and ribs, and it is an awesome looking knife.... but its also 129.95???

does anyone have nay info on it? wether its a production model, what steal its made of, how many were made, anything???

It is there fixed blade PT model, I forget the letters they call it. It is made out of S30V like all other Strider production models, so yes it is a production model. I hope this answers your question.

they designate it the ED or EDC model of the pt. from what i hear it is very small and meant to go after the same market as the hideaway knife crowd. someone told me that they have seen a rip type sheath for it as well.

I think the design would make it a great anthropologist's knife :D ... even though I don't think they really named it ED after me!

I'll have to have another look at it. I stared at it for a while and couldn't make sense of the pattern in the handle. It's like those vase/faces or old woman/young woman pictures. Now that I know what I'm looking at I'll probably be able to actually see it! :D
