Well, went down to check the mail today and a nice surprise awaited me! I am now the very proud owner of a new Strider MT model! Talking with Duane and Mick (and drinking their beer) at the blade show I commented that I liked all the knives but the MT model was my favorite. Everything about this knife is COOL! And the sucker floats hair no problem. The SOE sheath is one oof the best made their is. I am going to stick it on my vest and there it will stay waiting for the revolution! :p That is how much I like and think of this knife, I will cary a Strider. I would carry one of my own but I always end up selling them, this knife will NEVER be for sale, so dont even ask! :) I cant thank you enough, this is one of the best gifts I have ever recieved! Rob

Mick,Duane, and Ryan. I think the next time a Valet tries to carjack me Ill stick that knife in their face! :D

I hate to be the one to break it to you but the Model MT will only be the start. ;)

I got a Model MT and IMMEDIATELY began bugging Duane for his Model MT Mod-10 and, simultaneously, bugging Mick to put together a Model MT-L.

Hey Duane, are you tired of that Mod-10 yet? I've got a credit card that isn't already completely maxed out that'd be a perfect fit for you. ;)
 
Well I dont know all the model numbers yet but can see where a guy would get hooked on these COOL TOOLS! My wife even thinks it is badass!

If it is the same Valet, you'd better bring more than a knife. I'm guessing after the tip you left him with, he should be smart enough to come strapped while attempting to park your car!:D Man oh man, Vegas is not going to be the same after that whole mess of a trip.

No Tom! My butt is not sore.....but yours will be when I catch up to you and insert my boot in it! Thanks for all the moral support, smartass! ;) Everything is dying down, so all is well. No hawkbill, please!!! I can't sharpen anything, let alone a hawkbill!

Thanks for the cool words. If you want to do anything that will use that sheath set-up, I'm sure I speak for Mick also in telling you we will give it the go ahead with John at SOE for you to use it.
And for anyone else out there that wants too ... well ... no.

Eh, you know how it goes. People get the best gear they've seen in years, so something must be fucked up. I'm clear though. Just wish it would go away!
 
Duane, you are too cool! I would love to use a very limited number of the sheaths! I contacted SOE before Blade and he told me he only made sheaths for the Stider guys. :( That is a great and generous offer and I will take you up on it. I especially like the black trim on the OD sheath and the fastex buckle. Thanks again Duane, you the man!
