Strider Knives allegedly closing its' doors

I just read this through a FB posting. So, that's why I say allegedly, because nothing is mentioned at Strider's website.
Figured I'd post it for those who are interested in it.

It does appear they are getting out of the production side of things. I have been seeing cut backs and closings in the gun business. Is this also something we will be seeing in knives I wonder?

I thought for sure there had to be a tread going somewhere but this is the one I could find. Pershaps the mods could merge them?

Guess i'll never own one now. Damn i really wanted an ht-s ( big boss's knife in mgs3) and an SnG. Oh well.

Mick said that knives will be produced under MSC, but he will be making "Classic Knives".

Lape, if you're really interested in getting one now, send me an email. I know of three dealers that have a few SnGs still in stock.
