Hey there.
Here's the deal. The move is pretty much done. Things are moving nicely.
May as well throw a wrench into it.
We are continuously trying to improve the way we do things.
Therefor we have broken the company down into units.

1. STRIDER KNIVES: Consider Strider Knives an ultra-high grade production knife company. If you want a Strider Knife, out of the catalog, order this way.

2. STRIDER KNIVES CUSTOM SHOP: If you are interested in a custom or modified knife by Strider Knives, order this way. Same call and all that, we just organize it a little different. And it will take longer.

3. Mick and Duane: If you are interested in a custom knife by either Duane Dwyer or Mick Strider, give us a call. This will now be available.

We are also going to be upgrading our we site to show some of the custom shop stuff and all that. Just give us a minute or two.

More soon

Mick

So, what does that make the folder? Production, Custom, or Mick/Duane? Just curious, Mine is kick ass, and is definately something that I'm going to hang on to.

Brian

Hey, uh, do you need anyone for test and evaluation? Joke. I'd like a Duane neck knife, with a Mick folder on the side. See you guys in two weeks.

Hey there Ryan and Brian,
Everything ordered up until right.........NOW!.......is a regular ol Strider Knife. Folders, unless other that standard wouldn't be custom. Neck knife.... yes.

That is all

Mick, thanks for the reply. So what you are saying, if I follow you, is that the folder is a production piece. I quote: "Folders, unless other that standard wouldn't be custom", and Buck is making a production piece, then they make a production version of a production knife?

Can somebody shine a light on this for me? I'm only a dumb 03, so I need a map and 8 digit cordinates to find my way through this discussion.

Catalog knives - including the Strider folder (not he Buck folder of that name)- are to be considered handmade knives made by an anonymous group of hard drinking fellows in an assembly type system? In otherwords, benchmade knives.

Non-catalog items, or those specifically requested (with precedence going to fellow 8541s) to be made by Duane and Mick, are to be considered handmade by that particular hard drinking fellow? In otherwords, custom knives.

Numbered knives fall in where?

Is that close, plus or minus a few clicks for windage?

Your close, but nothing in the V-ring.

You forgot the Strider Custom shop. If you want a knife that is custom, but don't care which of us makes it, this is the place for you.
Numbered knives are just numbered, that's no big deal.

Carpe Diem

So which one of you is the better knife maker then (or which one of you costs more)?
Are you going to entertain requests for balisongs?

Yeah, who can kick the other's ass too?!?

Hey there Jade!! How are you?!
Long time no see pal. We miss you.

Jade introduced us to air soft pistols by shooting me in the leg at the last of the Great Western gun shows. A little river of blood ran out of the air "soft" hole. *****r!

What's up Jade?

One time Jade was so cool he let us stay at his house. I think it was the time he shot me. He ended up not getting laid because of us. Isn't that nice? What a pal. Can you imagine letting Duane, Cormac and Me stay at your house?

Call us dude. Or e-mail. Come see us in Vegas this weekend.

Talk to you soon.

Mick

Is that the long haired, skinny little, geek, cover of SWAT magazine Jade? Wow, we have been graced on this forum. How ya doin-its DB.
