On another forum I visit their was this thread about knives One guy who just joined the Army guard (has not even shipped off to basic yet)was saying how Randall was one of the best knifes ever made among other crap. He then wen on to say how he wanted to get a benchamde auto since he was "military" now and can purchase them. Not to mention shince he is not going off to "war" he does not need anything now.

Well to make a long story short I opened my mouth about Striders and how they outpreformed Randall made (I've had 2 Randalls) along with a way better waranty.

Well this brain surgon said that Strider knives looked like they were made by prisoners:eek:

So are the Strider guys really prisoners:rolleyes:

Hey SFS Brother,

If Stealing my attention to buy awesome knives is a crime then maby they should be prisoners. Let this tool think what he wants. That means more Striders for us. I have my "Prisoner Made" WP-2 around my neck right now.:D :D

THIS IS NOT NEWS!

We all know people who will just never get it. They look for bargain gear and anything with cami, military crests or tiger stripe markings will prove to their unknowing friends and family that the country's fate rests in their hands.

I've seen people buy more junk deuce gear, cheap firearms, low quality holsters and tactical vests - and Surplus stores are the worst! Even more painful is to listen to the unsolicited explanation some give for their purchases.

After Rambo came out I watched friends buy flimsy knives with the built in compass, hollow handle and leather sheath that was so thin you could see light through it.

It is funny from a distance...

If they were made in prison, the inmates might as well keep them to lead the way in their escape. No need to see which hole that roach will crawl into to give you a headstart.

Your right hondo, a lot of us buy stuff just for that cheap military look. That is why I only buy Striders with the tiger stripes. :D :D :D

A friend once told me that when you are self employed you have a bastard for a boss... meaning when it's your business you put your heart and soul into it.

I'll call Amnesty International and tell them to go to the Strider shop. I'm sure they will be appalled.

Prisoners of a constraining sense of morality and ethics. Unable to break away from a vision and ideal. Slaves to doing what is right. Their motto says it all. Wearing the yoke of responsibility. God help us if men like this break the bonds of productivity- read Atlas Shrugged to see what can happen.

Slaves? Like Chuck Heston in the belly of the boat rowing alongside the other oarsmen...

America needs your knives!

:D  :D

Mick, Duane,
I am sorry to hear that you guys are being held prisoner. I had no idea!! Is there anything that we can send you to make your stay there easier? It seems the least that we can do. How about a cake with hacksaw blades enclosed? I guess that would not be a good idea. Then you would escape and there would be no more great knives.Maybe some nice bed linens to make your time chained to the grinders more comfy? Just let us know.

Those guys PROBABLY SHOULD BE in prison....but upon last report they were still walking around as free as a bird!!! :p ;) :p ;) :p

if you saw Mick at the knife expo you'd think he was a prisoner. They gotta start taking time away from the grinder to feed themselves...

The strider guys do not need food. They need women.
I'm sure they get lonely chained to the grinders all the time.

Poor guys. :(

Now, when are you guys gonna do some rayskin/cordwraped handles?
