Does anyone know if their office is open to the public, I am having some issues with my SMF and I would hate to ship it when I have a free couple of days to make the 2 hour roundtrip drive to their office.

That's a good question, although I'm a few states away, it would be nice to know.

i don't think they have an open store the same way larger manufacturers have open to public... but i have heard of situations where people were able to drop by the store and get some work done on their knife... you best bet is to email or phone them and let them know your plans so you don't just drop by un-announced. i hear they are a friendly group of people and their customer service is outstanding. maybe try josh@striderknives.com or go to their website striderknives.com and get their shop phone number.

let us know how it works out!

You guys were right I emailed them last night and Josh responded and said to call first. This is good news, cuz the pivot is acting funky and is not right.

That's good to hear, but if all else fails......buy a sebenza! :D

wow... you guys are slacking... SIX posts before the sebbie gets a mention?!... I thought you were quicker than that :p

why would ya say that in this thread? i would never say buy an SnG in a seb thread, but whatever i suppose, you seb folks are hard core lol.

sebs are "ok" too, but i will say that while i never carry my seb my SnG's have seen a little pocket time, and some use, i usually carry a custom emerson CQC13 FWIW, but sebs are "ok".

it just depends on what ya like, unlike some i dont think the sun rises and sets with a reeves sebenza lol, but like i say they are "ok" too, usually have great F&F FWIW.

if your seb fails buy a custom emerson lol.

Strider made good fixed her up and even replaced a scratched pivot nut. Good deal. No more sebenza or emerson talk or I will close this thread.

The various blades for Strider folders are incredible. Strider is doing outstanding work! ;)

Now dont tease lol. Im a big strider fan, did you drive down there to the shop? I have been meaning to go down there, one of these days im going to stop by and say hello, and check out the operation.

They have a great warranty, glad you got it fixed.

Well according to the guy that actually did the work I got lucky. Usually they keep the door locked and the people out but today they didn't. They ask you call ahead of time. It's not much to look at a garage shop with a CNC and other tools. It really is mostly hand worked.
