Strider lockbar question?

is the lockbar on the strider double gunner grips thinner than on the regular lego models? I was thinking about it and thought they might be since the edges on the double gunner grips are contoured and so then I thought the lock bar itself may also be thinner? if it is does anyone have the specs on the thickness of the various models (the DGG and the lego)?

The CC and DGG are radiused like 1911 grips. Thicker in the middle. The cut-out is the same on all three lock bars. I think that's why they say one isn't really stronger than the other. The cut out is your weakest link.
