I LOVE that knife!! It is one of my favorite fixed blades. I am sure someone will chime in and give you the info you need.

I don’t own a MT/mod 10 sniper I have a mark1a. On the sniper it’s S30V with a good heat treat. Most of the Strider handles are similar and I haven’t heard anyone say they are slippery. So if you like the steel, the look, and it fits your hand it should treat you well. The only thing I can say about my Mark1a is that it was quite a bit lighter than I thought it would be. The knife I carried for years was quite a bit heavier overall and heavier at the tip, so that what I was used to. To me it wasn’t really a good or bad thing just different and I wasn’t expecting that.
