Strider Model BG questions...

I really like the lines of the Model GS and the BG lines. I am thinking about adding another Strider for my use. These seem perfect. I am looking for Strider thats leaning more towards pure fighting knife than heavy duty use.

I was wondering if Mick or Duane can tell me if it comes with a sharpened top edge? Can this be done on the BG or GS? Does it come that way from the Strider?

Mick or Duane what are your thoughts on these two models. I think the BG and the GS are not talked about much BUT their design in my eyes makes them supreame fighting knives.

Those two models look like they are designed more for fighting but also can be used for heavy work.

Any information thanks.
 
I have had both the GS and the BG. The BG had a sharpened top edge and the GS was a single edge blade. The GS is weighted toward the handle and is very fast in the hand. I waited a long time to get mine and I love it.

COOL! I like the grind on that blade very much. I am getting more and more into the GS. Sharp and Pointy!

I just think that the GS or BG would be awsome fighters.

What type of sheath do you carry it in? I am thinking of something kydex as the sheath thats with my BT the SOE one is not to EDC mode.

I find when carrying a defense fighter it rides better in kydex for all day carry and is easily concealed.

Any comments

Zach what do you use the GS for mostly?
