anyone ever tried either of these blades. was thinking of getting one but can't decide which one is better. by the way what is the blade thickness on the strider?

The PAB is 1/4", I have used a hollow ground version. Instead of either of those blades I would recommend a Becker Combat Bowie, Swamp Rat Camp Tramp, or Busse Battle Mistress, depending on how much money you want to spend.
