just bought one,.quality of fit between the ti frame and g10 leaves alot to be desired for a 300$ piece-grooves on the clip end are not lined up between the two sides clean, they appeared to have notched the g10 to get the grooves somewhat lined up-looks like a 20$ china piece of garbage to be honest -on the plus side the heat treat on mine appears well done, other s30v knives i have dont stay this sharp this long for me,edge is lasting long like a factory bg42 edge crk did one a sebenza i had-

give a bradley alias 2 a look ,i also have one of them- its a few bucks cheaper and a nice piece-

might try a sebenza also-

as more people respond, you will find that YMMV with strider folders.

if i was you, i'd forget the PT and go for the SnG instead. i've owned/own 3 now, and it is a solid, working knife. and the best warranty in the business.

striders are high priced, but you need to consider things in the long run. buy a strider knife now and it will likely be the last, most utilitarian knife you'll need for the rest of your life. unless you get caught up in buying more striders for no reason, which is what happens to most of us.

Great knife. Wish I had kept mine but I was on a big folder kick. Gonna pick up another one of these days.

Forgive me but what does "YMMV" mean?

I love my PT , I have owned/own 6 Strider folders - nary a hitch so far .

I have a Stider PT. Not a bad knife.
My only complaint is how high the knife rides clipped to your pocket.
It is a tough knife.

That is also my main and only bitch with the PT . That and the lack of a lanyard hole . It's not too big a deal as I usually carry high value/hard use knives in a pouch .
