Do all Strider knives have the name and/or logo stamped on the blade?

What if it looks like a Strider, but there is no name and no logo anywhere on the blade or handle? Is that a fake?

Just wondering....

Yes,
They will be stamped or the newer ones look Laser etched.
Post a pic of it if you have one, It would help.

It looks legit to me, but someone BeadBlasted the Laser etching off of the blade.

I have a PT and also a Buck strider, and I know the knife is definitely high quality. The only thing that concerned me was the missing name/logo. Everything else about the knife is top notch.

I really appreciate your input guys. Thanks!

Probably been modded as I mentioned, though it looks well done compared to some of the crazier things that can be done to them.

It also has the black lock stop,,,that tells me that is one of the newer generations that also has the Laser etched logos on the blade. I say it was bead blasted at Strider they will do it for a 50 dollar fee if asked.

Where'd you buy it Gator if it' not on the "down low"? evilBay or at a reputable place. That might help answer your question. It should have been disclosed, I'd think as an "add on" from Strider. It's nice looking. :)

Don't know about that particular one, but there have been more then a few "sterile" Striders in the past (Try a search). Supposedly, they aren't supposed to be in general circulation, though sometimes I suspect they occasionally just slip out. I once received a sterile tiger-striped SNG that I purchased new from bluelinegear or one of those sites. Everything the same as the standard, just no maker's marks. After using it for a period of time, I eventually then sent it back to Strider for lock adjustment and had them put the logos on the blade, before I sold it. At the time, I thought that people wouldn't believe it was a legitimate Strider. Later, I found out that there is actually a collector's market for them. Oh well. If you're curious, you could always ask or post a picture for the Strider folks at the USN.

Yes, I have actually seen a few sold by Strider dealers. There are some out there that are legitimate.
