Don't know about that particular one, but there have been more then a few "sterile" Striders in the past (Try a search). Supposedly, they aren't supposed to be in general circulation, though sometimes I suspect they occasionally just slip out. I once received a sterile tiger-striped SNG that I purchased new from bluelinegear or one of those sites. Everything the same as the standard, just no maker's marks. After using it for a period of time, I eventually then sent it back to Strider for lock adjustment and had them put the logos on the blade, before I sold it. At the time, I thought that people wouldn't believe it was a legitimate Strider. Later, I found out that there is actually a collector's market for them. Oh well. If you're curious, you could always ask or post a picture for the Strider folks at the USN.
