Out of bag impressions never having put my hands on one before.

-I find it heavier then my norm but compares to carrying a Leatherman AL to me.

-SHOW STOPING LOCKING TITAINIUM LOCKINGSIDE

-sparkly pocket clip that im going to avoid using

-very uniform downward grind

-the stamp could be put on anything and look cool

-Strong suction on the detent

-smooth to open/a tad stickish to close ..funny though its not every time

- ..... .. .... ... ..... .. .... ... ..... .. ... .... /

-the blade center is a tad off but well acceptable

-A LANYARD WHOLE IN THE PIVOT ?!?!?!?!11? draw up another patent

-thick blade

-sharp

- i have heard this a few times in the past about these knives and i see it now first hand , it seems to be more comfortable in the choked up choil position.

Oh now that you may be done reading and possibly heading to write something in the thread ......... this is a nonhate thread only ;)

out of bag ideas and observations from eye "feel me". carry on

show *stopping*.....lol but seriously awesome pick up i have been trying to find one every day for almost 4 weeks with zero luck, they are awesome in my opinion and have had both the 2110v in a tnk tanto and a dgg sng in cpm154. This is the best mix IMO, enjoy the hell out of it man!

The SnG, a dang nice folder.
The lanyard just goes through one of the lanyard holes.

I love my SNG too. Some say Strider's QC is hit or miss, but from the knifes I've owned and handled I'd say they're top shelf stuff.

Well, congratulations on the Strider. Now, put that steel to work to see if what folks say about S110v is hype or the real deal. I really like my SMF and SnG in 110.

I just purchased a SnG in S110V and should have it in hand by the end of the week. I have been looking for a valid source on the rockwell and GPKnives seems to be the only place it is listed (see link below). However a range from 58-61 is a rather large spread and if on the lower end I would imagine it would under perform. That being said it seems several in this thread have them and have for a while. That being said how have they performed? Does Strider do their S110V as well as they have done their S30V and if you think so what do you compare it to? I have the 2013 Forum Native in S110V Spyderco, Manix II S110V, and the ZT 0560CBCF S110V. They all seem to do well compared to other stuff I've had, I was just wondering where the Strider S110V would land in the mix.

Which is still a flawed design unless you're into replacing it every so often when the tip cuts through it. In 10 years they will probably change that like they finally did with their terrible lock geometry that they defended as correct for years..

Rolf,
I'm sure he liked that and gave you a respectful answer. :-)

(Wow, only took about 5 minutes after hitting the reply button for this to actually post, everyone home from work today?)
