Strider Scales?

Is there no where where strider sells handle scales for the SMF/SNG separately? I've looked but cant find anythin?
 
Nope, they do not sell separate scales. You could have one made by one of the many talented knife customizers in the community, but that would void the warrantee.
 
Cuscadi (of Griptillian scale fame) makes scales for Striders of all sizes and shapes, and if you want, you can get them fully custom in any material you like while specifying how rounded you want the corners to be etc. That is, if their Strider scales are as versatile as the Griptillian options (I assume they are).

I'm sure with their options you can get a nigh-identical set of scales to the original ones.
 
was just wondering if they were available..am lookin into getting my first strider and i really like the concealed carry scales an think they'd be great for edc but would love to have the option of switchin to like the gunner grip now an then for hard use when i need grip. guess i'll eventually get 2 striders anyway, when my wallet allows lol

This ^^^^ Strider has an awesome warranty, It's your knife do what you want , but ask yourself , Am i willing to void the warranty on my 400+ knife just for new handle scales? FWIW I'll copy and paste what a strider employee says about their warranty

If your folding knife has been modified we won't fix it so don't send it in
modified= if any tools were used on your knife to change its appearance Your warranty is void
Change the blade grind= void
Polish the screws, blade or titanium=void
Modify the handle=void
File your lock bar=void
Drill any holes in your knife=void
burn up your knife in a fire= VOID
If you strip a screw we will repllace it for a charge
If you break the tip or chip the blade we will fix it no charge
If you take the knife apart and ruin the lock up thier might be a charge
***charges are detirmined on how long it takes us to fix it****
WE WILL NOT SEND OUT OR SELL ANY PARTS

Well they use VZ Grips on a lot of the current G10 handles with patterns or texture. Occasionally they pop up for sale on secondary but I’m not sure you can get them direct from VZ I would ask but probably you cannot get them from Strider based off comment that they don’t send parts
