Strider Sheaths and Custom Leather Work

I'm an active duty Army officer and I make leather sheaths, holsters, and bags in my spare time. I search for the highest grade of shoulder leathers that I can find that will ensure durable and aesthetically pleasing sheaths. My turnaround has been about a week for most orders, but I will give a time and cost estimate for every order when I receive its details.

I work with 8-9 oz leather that I wet mold 2-3 times onto each knife to compress the leather fibers and hand stitch each sheath. I create custom fitted heavy vinyl pouches for each knife before wet molding to ensure that no harm comes to the knives from exposure to moisture. The results are a sheath that has pretty similar strength to kydex, but is also a little more forgiving on your knife's finish. The pictured Strider pancake sheath has a firm lock up when the knife is inserted and my friends all comment about the audible "click" or "pop" sound when the knife seats itself into the sheath.

God Bless and thanks for taking a look at my work!

Nice work Nate, and welcome to the forums. Take a minute and read the forum rules as it regards selling and you may decide it is worth it to you to invest a paid membership. Knifemaker, Craftsman, Service Provider (orange name tag). Again, welcome to the forums.

Paul,
Thanks for the help! I didn't realize that I had to change the status from the default "registered user" level in order for it to display properly.
