strider sheaths

My Strider is made of cordura nylon with a kydex liner. It is a very slim design and just wide enought to cover the blade. The Kydex on mine does not hold the knife very securely so I always have to use the strap, but overall it's a great sheath, and an amazing knife.

Hi Max...

The kydex in your sheath is more likely used as a stiffener instead of standard cardboard,, a lot of sheaths use ....

The older Strider sheaths were made by Eagle, the newer ones are done by Special Operations Equipment (they share a building with Strider). The kydex inside is used as a stiffner. These sheaths were designed with input from military special ops input. Strider is also doing in-house kydex, and they have also used a couple of outside vendors for there kydex work. I have all of the different varieties, and I have had good luck with all of them. Skunkworks does a great job on them as well.

Your Strider sheath is made by Special Operations Equipment. It is constructed of Cordura with a form fit Kydex liner.

If your Kydex doesn't retain your blade well, send it back for a re-fit.
