While on vacation last Friday I had the unique opportunity to visit Strider's operation in person and as a custom knife maker I was impressed.
Steve was gracious enough to give me a hands on tour and took the time to explain all that they do. I have always been a fan of Strider knives and was impressed by the quality of there blades. I was even more impressed with the professionalism the shop presented. Steve says they will be moving to bigger quarters soon to better serve there customers needs.

I wish them all success...keep making more great knives!

Robert, you're a lucky guy. I used to live in Oceanside and wish I knew about Strider when I was there. What is the lowdown on their equipment? Top of the line stuff? What kind of grinders did they have?

Guys if you get the chance go see em!
Just be sure you call plenty in advance they are busy.
They do have a cool shop for sure with plenty of wiz bang stuff. Probably not a good idea to post a shopping list of equipment on the Net. You need to get off the duff and see them if you get a chance.

OK Mick do I get my discount on a Blade now for all the free advertising;) Just KIDDIN One of your blades is on my christmas list, Unless you need a custom Bowie, with a hand tooled sheath in trade for a model WB...
