Hey guys and gals, just wanted to share some pics of my new SMF-CC.
-This has taken the place of a Sage 2 and then a SNG-CC as my EDC blade.
-I re-profiled the edge to 30 degrees, first freehand on a 1200 grit waterstone, then finished on the Spyderco sharpmaker. I also polished the Ti back with a 400 grit paper first, then finished with semichrome paste for a glossy look. I then took the 400 paper to just about all the sharp corners on the knife just to make it a bit more comfortable in the hand. Finished by taking the knife apart to clean and lightly lube the washers (they were pretty gunked up) and viola!
-The blade is now shaving sharp and much more utilitarian for my everyday use.
