I hope that you know the hazards of copper beryllium it can be dangerous to handle after long periods of time. It is still unknown what health hazards come from the alloy but beryllium its self is poisonous to the skin. The navy does not let us handle it with out gloves. H60 helicopters have a few copper beryllium parts.

just make sure you use oil while sharpening. To keep dust down.
