Strider SMF Dagger Grind w/o Nightmare Grind?

Does Strider make a Dagger grind w/o the Nighmare feature? I like the false edge on the top of the blade...don't want to pay an extra $400 for the nightmare grind and the Mick Strider signature.

Just curious...I think I saw one at the California Knife show video, but don't think I've ever seen one anywhere else.

In the SMF i dont believe so. But they did do a strider/TAD collab with the SnG. It has a dagger grind/ swedge on the top.... very cool looking. came in both gunner grips and CC models.

There's been at least one run of TAD Gear SMFs with a swedge, so they do exist. The TAD knives usually go for almost as much as the customs unless you are lucky enough to snag one off TAD's site.

Looks like if I want the false upper edge...it's just gonna cost me. What we do for sexy blades....

FYI - ever since I got my first Strider, my other high quality folders (BM, Spyderco, Combative Edge) seem insubstantial. However, the Combative Edge is a nice blend of beefiness and slimness.

have you tried a CC or GG model? They are a bit slimmer than the lego handled models

I have an SMF CC in 3V. It is my EDC. Carries great...the Combative Edge carries a bit better IMO. However, I like the 3V steel better.

If Combative Edge would make their blade in 3V, 10V, M390...I'd EDC that instead. They use N690... a good steel but IMO not a great steel.
