Hello everyone, Ive been trying to find out if it's possible to obtain a strider sng with black g-10 scale, black titanium lock side, with satin screws, pivot bushing and blade with the blasted tiger stripe finish?

Nope, you might be able to find a clone in that configuration, but not a real Strider

The darkest you can possibly get on the lock side is the flame/heat treated finish. I do not think I've ever seen one in black.

^ That.
Black, isn't possible within the anodized Ti color spectrum. You might paint titanium black but that would be a very sad thing to do.

Au contraire, they actually do PVD/cerkoted lock sides from time to time, but it always matches the blade finish so if the lock side is a black PVD finish, the blade will be as well. Also, they never do satin hardware except on customs, but it is very easy to polish them yourself. The tiger stripe blade finish would be the hardest part, unless you did a blade swap.

Photo evidence (yes I know it's an SMF):

Ok, thank you guys for the help. When I decide to purchase a strider ill go with black g10 and flame/heat treated finish if I can find it. I appreciate the answers.

Hello, seen your request to consider how you get close to your "most wanted" Finnish. I also like the contrast colors of blade and frame. The heatcloring in my eyes is not a "Choice" if your taget as "Black" . Instead of that Ceracoting, which covers the blade and frame that wise, that you do not see the " steelfinnish" anymore - you may consider a PVD-Coating. They went out pretty sexy and the rough finnish of the material ( steel) is still viewable . To give you an impression , that helps to consider that way .... i attach here some pics. I guess you simply get your Black Lego Strider (which is no rare find) and put it to some experts hands ( you find here in BF for PVD coating = around 50 Bucks) ...and let them do the "Pimp" only to the frame or as well to the blade.
My pictures do not really justify the exception cool Black Coloring of that work. Its like Mirror Black but you still focus the material surface because the PVD covering is only in micro -mü. Have a great day and find your "Heartbreaker" strider ....its worth any efforts ! Cheers , J.

....small add ...: You only need to find a Tigerstriped / or ghoststriped SNG with black Legos and satin Ti_Lockside and give the frame to a PVD coating. The result will finally be ....a real strider with you entire matching features.

That would be perfect with the black g10, thank you very much finestwarblades. How would I find the experts? Just google them?

check with BF on "Strider PVD" for sale.....some of the sellers had sent their knifes to PIMPERS...they might help.

Or better : Open a thread on Strider knifes here and ask: Help / who can PVD coat my SNG ??? that will work
