Strider sng cpm s30v

Look what just arrived. Way to early to give to much pros or cons, but it is smooth, lock up is great, blade is centered, and I feel it is a great size for me.

Congrats, they have a good heat treat with s30v. Should hold an edge well, I've had 4 Strider's in that steel.

I got it second hand in mint condition, it was dull wouldn't even catch on my finger nail at all, just rolled off. I put it on the Wicked edge reset the bevel at 22 degrees 44 inclusive,quick strop at 5 microns and it go's threw phone book paper effortlessly. I am a amateur at best when it comes to sharpening. The heat treat and the steel seem very good. Thanks for looking

Nice score, I have a Sng lego bl-g10 sw, a fav of mine. Yesterday I serviced my SMF as it was getting a bit sticky, had fun doing it, its working perfect now. Striders are quality production knives and easy to work on and sharpen, I use a 22 degree angle on my Wicked Edge as well. I'm sure you will enjoy your new purchase. The only con I have for my Sng is that Strider doesn't offer a production model with full ti handles.

Nah, the pros outweigh the cons considerably! Very nice, clean looking knife. I haven't got the LEGO yet just DGG & CC. May have to look around.

Yes the pros are evident and I'm not one to knock any knife maker , sometimes I have to get over the excitement of getting a new knife. It took a wicked edge, very impressed....

I have been eyeballing smf flamed ti. With ghost stripes in cc. And looking for cracked ice blades. The cracked ice don't seem to be in abundance thou?

Just looking, what I here about the smf cracked ice is: there might be between 30 and 60 split between tanto and drop point in circulation. Wow
