That knife has been opened and closed several hundred times at least. You can see that the bead blasting is completely worn through from the ball detent, and that is not how the come from the factory in my experience.

Not that this hurts it, as it may just be broken in, but saying its never been used or carried doesn't seem accurate. It may have never cut anything, and may have never been in a pocket, but its still not "brand new".

That's a bold statement, that should have been addressed via PM or email.

Might want to check the rules regarding negative comments on other peoples threads!

This knife pictured is actually a numbered SMF tanto. It is about 10% larger than SnG. The tanto run was a limited number for the SMF. Not sure if anyone really cares but I thought I better point it out. A new SMF drop point would cost you $475.00.......

I didn't actaully make a negative comment. I just pointed out that the knife pictured is not a brand new knife. Looking at the pic, that would be obvious to anyone who has seen a new Strider. The only way that a line gets worn through the bead blast on the blade like in the 2nd pic is by opening and closeing the knife a whole bunch of times. The FAQ on Striders website even says that it will take between 300 and 1000 openings to accomplish this. Another person also pointed out that the knife isn't even a SnG as the original post states.

I am not trying to be an ass, but maybe if the original poster doesn't like my comments they should accurately describe the knife that they are selling.

Hi

Well , that's your opinion based stricly on your theories , however , I bought this knife myself , and I do know that I never carried or used it. That's more then enough for me.

btw , do you own any strider knives ? I got few that ain't for sale , and they built the very same way , and it's not about the accuracy like in WH knives

also , if the new owner of this knife won't be happy when he recieves it , I'll refund him , no questions asked.

thank you!

It's Strider SnG knife as it's was described when posted.

Thank you

I'll send this thread link to owner of the knife.

I think he's member of bladeforums , so I'll ask him kindly to share his opinion on the SnG Strider he bought from me.

I can't promise date he will reply here and if he will at all , I do understand he's a busy person , and not sure if he got time for this , but I'll ask anyhow.

To be honest, this is not a SNG at all but a SMF. So you sold it for the price of the SNG?
