I really want to start doing reviews for my knives. This is my first attempt so let me know what you think and were I need to improve. This is just a quick initial review not very in depth but I do plan on doing a better one later.

I got this knife from a forum member while I was over seas and I've only been back for about a week so that's how long I've had the knife. This is the first strider that I have owned or handled for more than a couple seconds. I paid 380 for it which seems like a pretty good price for the model. I am the 3rd owner I believe but the knife doesn't seem used at all but I'm sure it "fondled" and opened and closed a hundred time before I got it so I missed out on the not so smooth "break in" period I don't mind. I was a little worried at first about the size I'd been reading everything I could find out about them. I was concerned that maybe I should have bought a SMF instead. I am SOOOO happy I got the SNG it is a great size not to big or small and to my delight it is bigger to me than people described and the cutting edge length is perfect for most things I have done. Fit and Finish is EXCELLENT. To me it really feels like a 400 dollar knife the jimping is pretty "intense" but I like it that way. The gunner grip texture is absolutely beautiful to me and feels even better. Fantastic grip wet or dry. Lockup is solid as a rock w/no blade play. I read by a few people that the GG was a different animal and excelled as an EDC knife. I can't compare to a regular SNG but I can say is SO MUCH lighter than you would think everyone who handles it comments on how light it is and how it looks like it would be heavier. The detent is also a lot stronger/stiffer than alot of knives I have in this price range. I imagine new it was alot stiffer still but as it sits now I love it I like that it doesn't fall open I prefer them on the stiff side so you have to want to open it. For some reason that feels more quality to me but that's probably just a preference thing for me. I've ecut a couple loaves of french bread, some rope/wire, couple boxes, tape, ect.(I know lame). It has excelled in all of the above so far could have used a little more edge for the bread but I'm sure no one is buying it for a bread knife (haven't got my stuff out of storage had to use it) The pocket clip is nice not to stiff not to loose. I like the design of it as it won't let the clip rock back and forth even if it were to get loose. Bottom line is I LOVE this knife it is my favourite folder so far and I've got quite a few even better than my umnumzaan which I love as well. I can't tell you how happy I am with it so far totally kick ass edc. Now for the pics I know there not the best but I tried to take them in different angles and holds I wear medium gloves for a size comparison

... Categorize or Organize the review in some fashion.. It will make it easier to arrange your thoughts coherently and make it easier on the reader. Paragraphs and/or bullet points are your friend :) otherwise it is a good review, I really want a GG model...

Looks like a nice knife. I am not a strider guy but your review added a few points to them:)

Man, you got that at a great price! ...a nice combo of SW and GG, my favorite Strider folder. Use in good health!
