I have owned a SNG since the end of December, and it has been my EDC since. I have used it to cut everything from food, to battery cables and it just never gives up. The knife was stiff when I first got it, but after a few hundred opening, and closings it is smooth as butter. At first the frame lock sat about 1/8 of the way across the lock area of the blade, but it is now well worn in to about 70% across and I don't think it is going any farther, due to the angle of the lock area. I have only had to shapen the 3 1/2", S30V, flat ground blade 4 times because it stays so sharp. Paul Bos does some kick ass heat treating. The pivot on mine which is a (6th Gen) is so friggin huge! I don't think it can fail. The frame lock is also equipped with the Hinderer device, which stops any vertical movement of the frame lock under heavy stress. The fit and finish of the SNG is something to behold. From the cool stripes on the blade to the tolerances used in manufacturing, you just have to hold one to understand. I know the price is a little steep for a semi production knife, but these knives get more hands on finishing then most may think. I read an article somwhere that said each knife that leaves the workshop recieves individule attention. It is apparent on mine. I got the first letter of my last name and the last 4 of my Soc # engraved on the Ti frame side of mine to help keep this one mine. I cherish it. You all should try one out. I think the price of one of these is worth it. You can buy 2 other good knives for $200 or a kick ass SNG.

I completly agree also. I've only had my SnG since the ECCKS in NY a few weeks ago, but I'm really impressed by it's brute construction and finish. I own many  knives, customs, production, including a couple of Sebbies and love 'em all, but this SnG is the one I'd rely on under really tough conditions.
