I was trying to find a photo of how a SnG will look carried in front pocket. Was not able to see one so i'll upload one so that ppl could see.

This was my 1st serious edc knife because i've got to the point that my freeby knife is lacking already

The SnG arrived in no bullshit plastic bag, no instruction, warning, conditions etc. Just in a plain bubble wrap. And i appreciate it why??? Because there's no condition. I could use, abuse that knife and I know Strider Knives will warranty it. Its like the no BS warranty of Dillon Precisions. Unlike most of the knifemakers that if i abuse it then no warranty. That is BS... Should i just look and adore my knife??? It's a tool not a jewelry.

We'll shoutout to Monkey Edge for wraping and babying my tool in transit.

I like Chris Reeve 21, 25, Umnumzan, ZT 550, Hinderer XM-18, TAD Dauntless but they are either not available or so pretty they have so many conditions in their warranty. I take care of my guns and take care of my blades but if i have to use them in day to day and extreme environment, they should work, and better yet have no BS warranty like Strider. Damn i spent weeks on research because there are so many nice blades out there. Thanks to forums like bladeforums. I understood more what my needs are and was able to select a knife that i could put my hard earned dollars and be peaceful in my decision. Start of Blade addiction... I don't think so .... This is a buy once, cry once proposition for me. Guns and Blades for me are tools not Bling. My family is my Bling. I believe that SnG is one of the best EDC blades out there, with it's rugedness, design, warranty. It's also very nice in my eye and my hand.

Hope my ceramic stones can still sharpen this knife else i have to invest in diamond stones. Shit another expense!!!

Update.... How it looked at dress pants

Love mine, too. My first SnG had a bad case case of lock stick. I sent it back to KnifeArt and they sent another. Second one had a few of the same symptoms. I was pretty PO'd, but the knife was a real looker (Black GG). So, I kept it and worked with it. I'm so glad I did. Now it's smooth and doesn't stick at all. I find I carry it a bunch, and it's a real favorite.
Good pics on how it carries. There are times I wish it had a deep pocket carry clip to keep it more hidden. But, it is sure quick to deploy if needed. I guess that's the trade-off.
For carry to work I got a SJ75. It's great, too. So, if the SnG is too much for a specific carry situation I'd suggest the SJ75.

Strider does run their steel on the hard side, and that's why I like them. My sharpmaker has no problem with my SnG's S30V.

Lock stick? Mine is tough also at first. I flicked it hard around dozen of times and it's smoothing out already. No play very tight when locked.

It's really easy to deploy but that clip is hard. I have to lift the clip before removing it. It will really not get out of your pocket by its own. There's some pro and cons.

Yeah it doesn't ride low when clipped. But It's light, good steel and grind, flat, easy to deploy, tank like, great warranty. I'm not afraid to use it on anything and carries well. Peace of mind!

Ceramic stones should sharpen it fine, in my experience. Now if you want to rebevel it, that's a lot more work.
