Strider SNG life expectancy?

Im just wondering, all you who are lucky enough to own strider sng's with the new lockup. How well does the lock bar hold up? Will it last a while or will opening and closing the knife alot wear it out in a year or two?
 
I've had several, but not for years. I'm not sure that the new lock up has been around for hears on the SnG. I am currently carrying the hell out of an SnG with the new lockup. I have flicked this thing thousands of times. The lockup hasn't moved. It is set at 50%.
 
With the new lockup, IF you are one of those nervous flipper folks, then after maybe a couple of yrs you MAY have to send it back, and Strider will put in a larger stop-pin (free) and you're set for a few more yrs.
Not to worry.
 
Yeah, the thing is that you never have to worry about lock life with Strider, because if it ever travels to 100%, they will reset the lock, for free.
