I received these photos from a friend and he asked me if I would like to buy this strider, I didn't know it was fake, that's why I asked here...
Could you tell me how you realized it was fake?

I'm very far from a Strider expert, having never owned one, however I noticed that the knives you showed here have backspacers. All Strider SNG, SMF, PT's that I know of have an integral backspacer (the presentation side scale and the backspacer are 1 piece).

Than I explained to your friend with those 2 particular knives. Strider doesn't sell knives for $70. Hardware on those knives us dead giveaway. Also no Strider has steel insert on Lockbar. One dude from Italy did that, he is in Strider fb groups. There is few other things. Geometry of the blade, finish etc.
