Strider SNG Question

I am new to collecting kives. I have the Spyderco Paramilitary and just got a Cold Steel Recon 1. I have wanted a strider for some time and want to make sure I get the right one.
Sorry if these are newbie questions:
Is there any difference between the Gunner Grip (GG) and the Double Gunner Grip (DGG)?
Also some of the sng's I look at say they are Gen 6. Are there any newer Sngs then that?
This is the exact knife I was looking to buy http://www.truenorthknives.com/vcom/product_info.php?products_id=2713 and I wanted to see if it was the most up to date model and best sng model.

Thanks for any help, They are so much money dont want to buy on a whim.

Gunner grips should be on both sides of the knife (ti and g10), and there should be no difference between GG or DGG.

I do believe the SnG is currently gen 6, and the SmF is gen 3.
